Whitesales em.curb proprietary rooflight upstands, compatible with single ply (bonded, welded or mechanically fixed), torch-on felt, hot melt, asphalt, GRP and liquid waterproofing systems. Options include 150 Splayed GRP for circular units with integral 10mm polyurethane foam insulation, and 150 Splayed uPVC in extruded white multi-chambered profile. Whitesales states that choosing a vertical kerb rather than a splayed one increases daylight transmission by up to 40%, and that kerb selection changes the overall thermal transmission and U-value of the rooflight, which is why an installed rooflight U-value must be quoted with its upstand.
