  23. supplier figure RN-LMDZSS

    Knauf

Manufacturer product data for 12.5mm moisture resistant plasterboard. Sheets are 1200mm wide at 2400mm (27.36 kg), 2700mm (30.78 kg) and 3000mm (34.2 kg). Comparing directly with the same maker's standard 12.5mm wallboard at 24.333 kg for a 2400mm sheet, the moisture panel is about 12 per cent heavier for identical dimensions, the additional mass being the water repellent additive in the core. There is no small format sheet in this range, so every board is a two person lift.

  24. supplier figure RN-Q17DQ9

    Knauf

Manufacturer product data for 12.5mm high density acoustic plasterboard. Sheets are 1200mm wide at 2400mm (33.12 kg), 2700mm (37.26 kg) and 3000mm (41.4 kg), which works out at about 11.5 kg per m2. Set against the same maker's standard 12.5mm wallboard at 24.333 kg for an identical 1200 x 2400mm sheet, the acoustic board is 36 per cent heavier, and that added mass is the entire acoustic mechanism. It is also 8.8 kg heavier per sheet, which is what makes a soundproofing upgrade physically harder work than a plain reboard.

  25. supplier figure RN-65PLTP

    Knauf

Manufacturer product data for Knauf Soundshield Plus 15mm high density acoustic plasterboard. Boards are 1200mm wide and 15mm thick, supplied at 2400mm, 2700mm and 3000mm lengths weighing 38.304 kg, 43.092 kg and 47.88 kg per board respectively. That works out at roughly 13.3 kg per m2, about a third heavier than standard 12.5mm wallboard, which is the whole point of the board and also the reason a 2.4m sheet is a two person lift. Knauf states that as part of a full Knauf system the 15mm board contributes up to 54 dB Rw sound reduction and up to 120 minutes fire protection, and carries a severe duty impact rating.

  26. supplier figure RN-SHIG71

    Knauf

Manufacturer product data for standard 12.5mm plasterboard. Sheets are 1200mm wide at 2400mm (24.333 kg), 2500mm (23.7 kg), 2700mm (29.16 kg) and 3000mm (28.44 kg and 29.52 kg on the variants), plus a small 900 x 1800mm sheet at 12.8 kg. The 900 x 1800mm sheet at 12.8 kg is the one that matters for a domestic job because a single person can carry it up a staircase, while a 1200 x 2400mm sheet at over 24 kg needs two. The board is stated as suited to receive a plaster, a ready-mixed finish or direct decoration.

  27. supplier figure RN-AB6IQB

    Knauf

Manufacturer product data for 9.5mm standard plasterboard, the thinner board normally used on ceilings and for overboarding. Sheets are 1200 x 1800mm at 17.856 kg and 1200 x 2400mm, with a 900mm wide sheet at 10.044 kg. Comparing with the same maker's 12.5mm wallboard at 24.333 kg for a 1200 x 2400mm sheet, the 9.5mm board is meaningfully lighter, which is why it is the ceiling board, but it also has less fire and acoustic mass and needs closer joist centres to avoid sagging.

  28. supplier figure RN-JGE6YW

    Knauf

Manufacturer product data for standard plasterboard with an integral vapour control layer, the board used on the warm side of an insulated wall or roof to stop moisture reaching the cold structure. Sheets are 1200mm wide at 2400mm (22.75 kg), 2438mm (23.11 kg) and 2700mm (25.6 kg), plus a 900 x 1800mm sheet at 12.8 kg. It is lighter than the same maker's plain 12.5mm wallboard at 2400mm (24.333 kg), so the vapour layer adds no meaningful weight and the choice is purely about the wall build-up.

Product data updated 8 January 2026. Expanded clay aggregate block. Face size 440 x 215 mm, thickness 100 mm and 140 mm, mean unit strength 3.6 N/mm2, Group 1 solid, tolerance Category D1. Net dry density 850 kg/m3. Thermal conductivity 0.27 W/mK at 3% moisture, internal use. Reaction to fire Class A1, moisture movement 0.6 mm/m, frost resistance to PD 6697 Table 15. BS EN 771-3, BSI Kitemarked, Category 1. Lignacite direct that a 7.3 N/mm2 block such as Lignacrete Standard is used below ground rather than Fibo 850, and note the low self weight suits partitions built off a floor slab.

Product data updated 5 June 2026. Fine textured block available paint grade or fair face. Face size 440 x 215 mm, thickness 100 mm and 140 mm, mean unit strength 3.6, 7.3 and 10.4 N/mm2, Group 1 solid, tolerance Category D1. Net dry density 1570 kg/m3 for 100 mm blocks. Thermal conductivity 0.90 W/mK at 3% moisture, internal use, for 100 mm blocks. Air permeability unfinished: 3.0 m3/hr/m2 for 100 mm solid blocks and 2.8 for 140 mm SP solid blocks. The 140 mm Lignacite SP uses a modified mix to optimise density as a solid block. Lignacite recommend 210-215 mm walls be built as two leaves of 100 mm blocks laid back to back and tied.

Product data updated 22 December 2025. Face size 440 x 215 mm, thickness 100 mm and 140 mm. Mean unit strength 3.6, 7.3 and 10.4 N/mm2. Group 1 solid blocks, dimensional tolerance Category D1, net dry density 1450 kg/m3. Thermal conductivity 0.47 W/mK at 3% moisture (internal use) and 0.51 W/mK at 5% moisture (external use). Reaction to fire Class A1, moisture movement less than 0.5 mm/m, frost resistance to PD 6697 Table 15. BSI Kitemarked and certified to BS EN 771-3, Category 1 masonry units. Lignacite recommend 215 mm walls be built from 100 mm blocks laid flat, and that 7.3 N/mm2 blocks be used below ground where exposed to external soil. 3.6 or 7.3 N/mm2 blocks are used as beam and block infill, with the 3.6 N transverse tested.
